The Pringle Nature Center is an approximately 3,000 square foot building located within the 197 acre Bristol Woods County Park. The center is the gateway to environmental learning in a variety of natural places located within the park. The nature center provides environmental education to school groups, youth organizations, families, youth and adults.
The nature center is staffed by a full time Naturalist with help from volunteers who are dedicated to making this natural resource available to the public. These volunteers staff the nature center on Sundays to be able to have the building open to the public as well as coordinate environmental education programs, write grants, and much more. We always welcome new volunteers, please contact us for opportunities. Kenosha County, the Village of Bristol, fund raisers, rentals, and program fees cover our funding.
Pringle Nature Center is a regional resource where people of all ages can experience nature, environmental education, conservation and stewardship and in doing so, be inspired to become responsible stewards of the environment. We do this by:
