Elizabeth Alvey - Naturalist

Elizabeth earned her B.S. in Ethnobotany from Ripon College before pursuing a Ph.D. in Environmental Science at Drexel University and joining Pringle Nature Center in 2019. During all that time, she has enjoyed doing some combination of teaching, camping, and field work in locations such as the Midwest, the East Coast, Washington, Canada, and China. Elizabeth is passionate about connecting people with their local environment. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, hiking, gardening, and drawing.

Tracy Warwick - Educator

Tracy joined Pringle Nature Center in October 2017. She has B.S. in Plant and Soil Science from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and a MS in Education from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Prior to working at Pringle Nature Center she worked at the Lake County Forest Preserve as an Environmental Educator and the Chicago Botanic Garden as the Manager of School and Youth Programs. In Tracy’s spare time she enjoys gardening, going for walks and spending time with her family. 

Roger Bock - Restoration/Grounds Intern

Roger is a student at UW-Parkside who is majoring in Environmental Studies (graduating May 2019). His interests include restoration and conservation ecology.
