Valerie Mann - Naturalist

Valerie joined Pringle Nature Center in 2009. She earned her B.S. in Environmental Science from UW-Green Bay before heading out on many adventures teaching environmental education at various facilities in the Indiana Dunes, Colorado Rockies, and Maryland's Chesapeake Bay. Valerie enjoys teaching the joy and wonder nature has to offer us. While not teaching, she enjoys hiking, camping, kayaking, and relaxing in the outdoors.

Tracy Warwick - Educator

Tracy joined Pringle Nature Center in October 2017. She has B.S. in Plant and Soil Science from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and a MS in Education from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Prior to working at Pringle Nature Center she worked at the Lake County Forest Preserve as an Environmental Educator and the Chicago Botanic Garden as the Manager of School and Youth Programs. In Tracy’s spare time she enjoys gardening, going for walks and spending time with her family. 

Roger Bock - Restoration/Grounds Intern

Roger is a student at UW-Parkside who is majoring in Environmental Studies (graduating May 2019). His interests include restoration and conservation ecology.

Maria Jobe - Naturalist Educator Intern

Maria is a student at Carthage College who is majoring in Environmental Science (graduating May 2019).
